DESIGNATION : DGM - Asset Management

LOCATION : Bangalore (< 20-25%)

REPORTING TO : Leader Technology Transformation

EXPERIENCE : 10 – 12 years

QUALIFICATION : Engineering and Management. Experience in cloud computing and hosted offerings a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with the lead architects for the SDP platform, to understand the reference architecture, software product images and application functionality available for use.

- Using the knowledge acquired from the above step, provide the technical input required during the sales and the due diligence process to provide costs estimates for the solutioning, transition and deployment phases.

- Provide the technical bridge between the teams maintaining the demonstration environment, image creation and maintaining of the images to the teams that will be using the images for development, typically GBS, and the Cloud data center teams responsible for actual deployment of the images and maintaining of the hosting environment.

- Ensure that the software products, including version and patch levels, are appropriate and consistent with what is required for development, test and deployment.

- Ensure that the requirements for any customer solution are fully understood and mapped to the technical capabilities of the Cloud hosting environment for all criteria, including but not limited to security, service levels, capacity and performance issues.

- Provide estimates on resources levels and skills required to support existing deals and keep pace with current and expected future demand.

- Work closely with Cloud hosting personnel defining the configuration for hosting environment and using this information provide cost estimates for the software products to be used in SDP deals.

- Manage software license purchases related to SDP delivery centrally, interfacing with local delivery teams during implementations

- Track / audit software license compliance, costs, etc.

- Should support the global offering lead in developing collateral, calculators, checklists and commercial packaging of solutions

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Candidate should have strong analytical capabilities

- Good estimation skills with exposure to leading estimation tools

- Should be proactive in making suggestions to customers on best practices and managing client or Business owners expectations is critical

- Should be able to present the solutions to the customers and articulate the value props in a detailed and crisp manner

- Should have excellent vendor management and 3rd party management skills

- Excellent relationship management skills with customers, vendors, partners and other internal teams

- Technical/platform design and architecture experience, combined with application design and
architecting

- Excellent communication skills, to work with technical and business resources

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Experience in managing large implementations and handling multiple clients or multiple projects

- Experience in supporting software development and data center management teams.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Educational background in configuration, management and the software development and deployment
lifecycle.
