Qualification : BE/MSC chemical + MBA

Industry Type : Chemical Sales

Reporting To : Regional Sales Team

Objective (The main purpose of the position) :

- Responsible for business planning, sales budgeting, and achievement of sales plan for a defined region. Responsible for setting targets for the regional sales team and support them in their growth plans.

- Has to grow the existing markets and identify new business opportunities for growth. Is responsible for credit policy, pricing, margins, working capital management and customer relationship

Key Responsibilities (State the primary duties and tasks of the position) :

Strategic Responsibilities :

- Setting out strategic business plan for the segment

- Annual Sales Budget keeping in line with the growth plan requirements of the organization

- Initiatives for achieving SBP

- Maintaining Price Margins

- Key account management

- New Business Development identification and implementation of action plan

Operational and Financial Responsibilities :

- Meet Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Target

- Forecasting to the plan

- Interact with production and PPC to ensure availability of the products

- Performance Review with the sales team and reporting manager

- Collection Plan and meeting the numbers

- Statutory forms - C Forms collection on time

- Learning and development of self and team

- Introduction of new product trials, feedback to TI for product improvement

- Maintain sales expenses as per revenue budget

- Identify export markets for growth and meet the sales numbers

- Participation in Trade exhibition, seminars, identification of other promotional needs

People-related Responsibilities :

- Talent Management

- Collaboration with TI & other Internal Customers

- Providing growth opportunities for people

- Creating an high performance organization

- Developing leaders for pipeline and promoting team spirit.

Supply Chain : Forecasting, OTIF - Weekly

Operations Product Availability : quality issues - Weekly

TI New Product Development, : Trials, Process Improvement - Fortnightly

IT & Finance Working Capital, : Revenue Budget, MIS - Monthly

HR Training & Development : Recruitment - Monthly

External coordinates Purpose : Frequency

- Customers Sales, Competition information, new business opportunities- Monthly

- Dealers Sales Budget - Quarterly

- Consultants Intelligence Monitoring, Market Surveys - Quarterly
