DGM - Corporate Communication - Internal & External Communication for a leading Life Insurance Brand

Reporting To : Executive Vice President- Marketing

Key Accountabilities :
Internal Communications :
- Development and delivery of a scalable internal communications strategy to provide timely communications to all levels of the organization
- Interact with senior leadership of the company to create and maintain company's communication strategy
- Liaise with different functions across the organization to gather requirements
- Serve as conduit through which most company communications flow through for approval, review and editing prior to being distributed in a widespread internal manner to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate initiatives and brand positioning
- Identify and implement different tools and channels for effective internal communication for example- intranet, emailers, etc.
- Develop own and manage an organizational newsletter, coordinate with various departments to get input and work with creative resource to complete
- Own, develop and manage calendars of key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication material and to avoid message conflicts
External Communications (Media Relations and PR) :
All communication from the CEO inside and outside the company :
- Press Releases made on behalf of the CEO to announce key developments and initiatives
- CEOs interviews at leading publications, electronic media, online etc.
- CEOs interviews/ speeches at leading industry conferences etc.
- Plan and execute successful PR programs. Use PR and effective media relations to increase Brand Recall
- Effectively manage PR and other related agencies to ensure effective delivery of objectives
- Put in place - media training- focus aligned to the company's communication objective
- Manage company communications policy
- Partnering with NGOs for CSR activities
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) :
- 6+ years of work experience in Corporate Communications (both in internal communications & PR)
- Proficiency in English complemented with experience in writing business communication is a must
- Experience in financial services will be an added advantage
