DGM - Sales - Central Product Management Team - Laptop Biz
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Candidate will be responsible for
planning and
executing sales strategies to grow Notebook PC (Laptops) business pan India.- Candidate will work as
Sales Manager Notebook PC, planning and delivering
business strategy for assigned
channel to ensure
business growth and
increased category share.
- Candidate will own the
sales plan and
achievement of said plan for assigned channel.
- Candidate will also be in
charge of partner management and
channel growth.
1).Prepare model wise sales plan, strategy & forecasting. Drive achievement of
sellthru, sell-out and
increase SOW in PC Category.
2). Develop
channel sales strategies for
building/maintaining a robust channel sales pipeline.3).Contribute to strategic planning with
intelligence from channel, regarding market trends, customer requirements and needs, competition and category insights.
4). Execute Go to Market tactics for product launches.5). Ensure
visibility, placement in all existing stores, and
maximize sales extraction.
Drive width of distribution expansion.
6). Maintain relationships with existing key sales partners. Lead negotiations, joint business plan closures, communicate grievances and handle escalations.
7). Expand partner network by adding new key strategic partners for PC business.8). Train partners on Samsung Notebook PC products, IT markets and competition.
Desired Candidate Profile : Should be BE ( Preferred) / MBA from premier institute with 8 to 12 years experience of
Sales/Partner/ Key Account Management experience.

Knowledge in PC Industry- Background in
Offline Retail business is strong advantage.
- Experience in
executing sales strategies and
product marketing strategies.-
Excellent Relationship Management skills- High on self-Motivation, positive attitude and work ethic desired

- Individual should be Tech Savvy and should be able to provide solutions to the problems put forth.
- Individual should be able to independently do
Market Research and
gather competitive product knowledge.- Individual should be well versed with MS tools like Excel & PowerPoint
- Should be willing to travel
