The Role is for a leading Japanese tier 1 major.
- The OEM Account Manager is responsible for developing account relationships and acquisition of OEMs for company's Products.
- Responsible for high degree of direct sales management skills and the implementation of account sales plans, providing Field Sales leadership in the implementation of corporate sales strategies.
- Depict fundamental leadership in sales management, opportunity assessment, Interact with OEM's (4w & 2w) customers/prospects for the purpose of marketing and selling, evaluating performance and strength, delivery of customer product training, negotiating agreements, supporting customer product integration, and sales planning and forecasting
- Price negotiation & finalization with OEMs and managing sales and post sales followup.
- Attend trade shows to provide sales support, generate leads, evaluate sales activities, strategies and strengths of the competition, identify new market and customer opportunities, and evaluate the success and perception of company's products.
- Compare monthly sales results to goals and take corrective action where necessary & Provide sales input for annual strategic planning process.
- Interface with Product Management to provide customer feedback on product performance & Recommend product positioning and pricing programs to remain competitive with keeping base costs in mind.
- Execute Business Development, Planning & Strategy, Key Account Management, Client Relationship, New Business Initiatives
People management:
- Strong Engagement with Internal and external stakeholders in an Independent contributor role
- Rational approach with an aggressive outlook towards building robust Sales and Marketing domain for leading Automotive OEM's Eg: (Honda, Toyota, Hero, Bajaj, Ford, etc)
- Agility to adapt with a Japanese major in terms of culture and methodology towards business
Background:
- Requires a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of sales and marketing experience in Auto component sales & successful account management position in Indian market.
- Requires proven managerial, verbal and written communication skills, solid business, technical, and application-solving aptitude, sales presentation skills, industry and marketing skills.
Hands on Experience and practical understanding of advance level of engineering processes
Qualification:- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) + MBA preferred
- Bachelor's degree, BE Mechanical + MBA (Sales/Operations) preferred
- Strong positive stakeholder relations, problem solving, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical capabilities
- Strong IT Skills and MS Office suite
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
- Flexibility towards travelling
