DGM – Reference Data Services

Day to day deliveries and Reference Data Process Management

- Address book and instrument reference data quality issues and strategise plans to address/remediate systematic issues causing data quality.

- Liaison with Reference Data consumers and Providers/Vendors, understand their recurring data issues and put in a plan to address them

- Conduct root cause analysis and Impact analysis on Data change requests

- Meet regularly with consumers to establish connect & serve as a point of contact for all consumer queries/requirements

- Vendor relationship management

- Understand user data requirements and recommend changes

- Change communication to consumers

- Escalation management

- KPI, Metrics reporting and SLA monitoring with vendors and consumers

- Own the Process Improvements, Business Efficiency initiatives, including LEAN & Six Sigma assignments

- Create succession plans, monitor leaves & attrition trend

- Manage resource allocation and utilisation for balance of primary & secondary responsibilities

- Accountable of headcount requirements and time cycle studies, capacity models

- Accountable for BCM drills, KOP recertification & updates, Learning & Development activities of team, including Internal accreditations, review of Book Of Work of team members

- Accountable for meeting all Risk, Compliance and Regulatory needs of the process, create actions plans to close audit points and mitigate any issue arising due to lack of governance and control

- Career development of team , Yearly / Half-yearly Performance Reviews

- Responsible for information captured in Financial statements

- Review BRD/FSDs and provide feedbacks on time and ensure all RTB requirements are captured.

- Involve in project kick offs, solution/product design discussions with multiple stakeholders. Ensure UAT testing and Production promotion testing

- Liaison with the Technical team in terms of data issues root cause analysis and resolution

- Involve in Performance Review Board discussions with downstream consumers

- Governance of procedures and inter-team, as well as intra-team workflows for seamless delivery to clients

Candidate profile :

- Strong Product Knowledge: - Expert knowledge on Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives (Options, Futures), Pooled/Non-pooled mortgages, Credit, Loans and Municipal's.

- Experience of working in Reference Data domain or Strong Reference Data projects experience

- Superior people manager skills along with leading/mentoring domain experts in reference data

- Technical knowledge: - Basic knowledge on SQL queries, Oracle.

- Good understanding of data flow and data architecture

- Good Communication /Interpersonal skills

- Fast learner and team player.

- Flexible with working hours/global support

- Project management experience will be an advantage

- Operations / people management experience.

- Strong Knowledge of overall reference data management covering all asset classes.

- Good Understanding of Reference Data , its importance in trade lifecycle and having worked in centralized reference data platforms

- Experience in supporting global reference data projects.
