Position Title DGM - Organisation Development & Change Function / Department

Position Objective:

- To develop and deliver Group Leadership, Talent, OD and Change programmes

Responsibilities:

- Consult on organisation-wide change programmes related to business strategy, leadership development, talent management, and capability building.

- Lead the development and execution of talent engagement and development programmes to ensure best in class development for mid and senior leadership cadre. To include set up - and ongoing management of - Leadership Engagement events, Action Learning Projects, Learning Circles, formal Coaching interventions etc.

- Co-create the design and delivery of high quality, high impact Development Centres to build capability at the mid and senior leadership levels. To include evaluation and selection of robust tools and activities, definition of process and outcomes, personal observation and assessment, provision of coaching feedback, individual development planning, and rigorous follow up on development plans.

- Deliver Team Effectiveness / Team Performance workshops to support new leader transitions, aligning teams for performance, and improving team engagement - forging partnerships with client businesses to facilitate ongoing development and progress toward objectives.

- Establish external Coaching panel for the provision of professional coaching services to senior leaders on as as-needed basis. Facilitate mid and senior level formal classroom-based leadership development programmes.

- Contribute to the development of the wider L&D team by assessing individuals using the Facilitator Standards Framework, and providing coaching and development input.

KPIs:

- To be defined - but initially focused on driving senior leadership team effectiveness, co-creating leadership and talent programmes for the senior level, and facilitating advanced leadership development programmes.

Qualification & Skills:

- Masters level qualification in a learning & development related field. Vocational qualifications / certifications in related field.

- Must be accredited in the use of psychometric assessment tools. A formal Coaching qualification is desirable.

- Must have advanced skills in design of high impact OD interventions, expert level facilitation skills, strong influencing and relationship building orientation, ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity and drive for results. Must be able to work effectively in a matrixed organisation across cultures and geographies.

- Must possess commercial business acumen, although direct retail industry experience is not a core requirement.

Experience:

- At least 12 years in the learning & development field, with deep domain expertise in running organisation-wide change projects, and working directly with C-suite stakeholders.

- Must have demonstrated track record of senior leadership facilitation (programme and process), and in the use of leadership assessment tools and processes e.g. Development Centres.

- Experience in formal leadership coaching is desirable.

- Must have demonstrated track record of working successfully across multiple geographies in a highly matrixed organisation.
