Job Title: Deputy General Manager - Operations
Location : Mumbai
Overall Purpose of the Role:
- To develop, manage and lead a team of Managers and Operators within a Medirest Unit to provide exceptional service to our clients.
- Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to.
- Drive foodservice and support service solutions that exceed our customers expectations and also help us achieve significantly high consumer/patient feedback.
- Oversee daily operations, engage with clients for feedback and review, connect and communicate with team on both structured and unstructured review, generate operational and strategic reports and motivate the team to higher performance standards.
- Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting.
- Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager and Leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy.
Tasks:
- Oversee activities directly related to the organisation functions at Client (Healthcare) site operations.
- Direct and coordinate activities between the client and the firm Departments.
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine concern areas needing intervention.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Direct and coordinate sites financial and budget activities, monthly PnL to increase efficiency.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures to the site staff members as necessary.
- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, and oversee those personnel processes.
- Ensure SLA parameters are constantly met and the client needs are met proactively to drive satisfaction index.
- Communicate client expectations to team, delegate team, increase efficiency, reward & recognize to achieve an all-round success ratio at site.
- Collate & study feedback from patients to increase operational service levels. Strive for continuous improvements in Compass operations through implementation of CSF- Compass Service Framework mandates.
