Job Description :

Job Summary :

Candidate should have extensive experience in Solution design/Architect, Program/Project Management, integration of large scale enterprise networks, and specializing in DC Application & Infrastructure operations that include WAN, LAN, Compute & Application

Key Responsibilities :

- Design network architecture, as per need and future planning

- Manage and support LAN/MAN/WAN, network operations across globe, with through knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, other routing protocols

- Familiarity with Avaya, Siemens, technology and systems

- Advanced voice and data telecommunications system management, like dialers, etc.

- All cabling and network passive infrastructure to be managed

- Project organization, management and control

- Ensure robust and scalable Data Centre by defining technical principles & standards for the IT Service vertical, and ensure compliance

- Ensure consistent services for primary and DR site by

a) Delivery with least down time, providing high up time of Datacenter, applications and databases

b) With SLA adherence, root cause analysis, Incident and problem management

- Ensure compliance to IT processes within the IT Service and datacenter vertical

- Team management for the IT Service's Data Centre vertical by providing Guidance, Review, Appraisal, Feedback and Mentoring.

- Stake holder Management for the Shared Service vertical, by expectation management, escalation management and status reporting.

- Ensure appropriate capacity planning for Datacenter applications and databases Vertical with respect to capacity as well as performance

- Audit management for datacenter, applications and databases

- Ensure appropriate patch management for applications and databases

- Ensure successful DR Drills, RPO/RTO are maintained as per BCP

- Build, manage and maintain application and database deployment architecture

- Ensure new initiatives and projects for Shared Services

- network design; plan and monitor timely launch of new WAN architecture

- Billing consolidation and verification

- Principles and practices of personnel management and supervision

Measures of Success :

- Increase the uptime wiz a wiz last quarter

- Reduce defects within acceptable limits/SLAs.

- Manage change controls.

- Reduce Capex / Operating expenses.

- Ensure lights on data center with availability and performance

- Capacity planning for business sustenance and

- Growth

- Controlled spend and cost saving

- Minimum business disturbance due to system maintenance

- SLA compliance

- Proper planning, designing and implementing Datacenter, DR site, application and databases

- Audit and security compliance

- Successful stake holder and vendor mgmt

- Building strong team to deliver business expectation and productivity

Key Relationships (Internal /External) :

Internal : BU Technology team

Key competencies/skills required :

- Strong fundamentals & experience in managing Datacenter and DC operation

- Good understanding of varying Data Center needs due to changing IT infrastructure (Virtualization, high density chassis, increased power and cooling requirements)

- Good communication (verbal & written) skills

- Strong leadership skills

- Active team playing attitude

- Techno managerial skill around datacenter and its operation To maintain a healthy working relationship with the Technology partners and other members of the IT Team

- Act as a thought leader to the team on tricky problems

- Should be a team player and dynamic enough to take challenges as and when required. Managing backups of setup resource by ensuring adequate knowledge transfer

Desired qualification and experience :

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Diploma in Computer Science/ Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication) or equivalent with minimum 15 years of experience with certification MSCE, CCNP
