Job Purpose:
The position is accountable for the conceptualization, development and execution of Training programs and the Group’s learning and development initiatives.
Job Duties:
- Interface with companies to understand and assess the training and developmental needs and to facilitate buy in for various initiatives.
- Conceptualize, Acquire content and Anchor the various development programs anchored by the group.
- Manage the delivery of development programs for the Group’s initiatives.
- Manage the delivery of cutting edge seminars / development programs through external faculty for the Group’s initiatives.
- Continuously upgrade training effectiveness by deploying appropriate effectiveness measuring tools (Kirkpatrick Model).
- Conduct interventions/ roll out integrated initiatives using multiple training techniques
- Design and Develop assessment tools (Knowledge tests/ observations/ simulations/ personality tests etc) - identify any existing tools that may be used for this purpose, pilot and validate any tools that are created in-house.
- To facilitate internal consulting assignments of organizational significance as part of the managerial development
- To support external consulting assignments and to engage in branding activities such as presentations, authoring papers, writing articles etc
- Oversee logistics for the training and development programs and ensure they are handled seamlessly with efficient use of the available resources and Follow through the effectiveness of the program.
- 12 to 15 years of experience of which at least 2-3 years in Training/ Learning/Coaching and Development.
- Experience in MNC environment/ Large Conglomerate will be an added advantage.

Technical Competencies:
- The incumbent is expected to be a specialist in one or more specific areas (E.g., Leadership Training, Soft skills etc). The job holder has to constantly update and renew the knowledge base. It would also include learning in areas other than the current area of expertise but within the broad field related to training and development initiatives.
- Sound understanding of learning and development theories, Behavioral processes and OD interventions.
- Good knowledge of learning methodologies and their application - lectures, facilitated discussions, case study, role play, technology led training methods, etc.,
- Understanding of Leadership and Managerial competencies and the Development practices to evolve the competencies.
- Good Knowledge of the assessment tools.
- Requisite is for a person with skills to structure developmental experiences for Senior executives of the group.
- Should be beyond running of programs - should be able to implement and see behavioral changes in the group.
