We have been retained by our client ( A prestigious EPC Company) to identify suitable candidate for the position as mentioned below.

Position: Lead Engineer (Civil) / DGM (Civil)

Department: Civil

Vertical: Power

Key Role:

- This is a key role in the area of Civil & Structural Design (Basic & Detail Engineering, Estimation, data sheets).

JD & Responsibilities:

- Graduate in Civil Engineering with 13-23 years of experience in Basic & Details design in Coal based Thermal Power Plant & its units. Position requires thorough knowledge of civil/structural design and engineering techniques.

Incumbent shall be responsible for:

1. Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.

2. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted to client & their engineering consultant.

3. Civil/Structural engineering calculations, engineering plans, design, and layout, project specifications, project proposals, project cost estimates.

4. Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

5. Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout.

6. Review vendor's drawings.

7. Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc

8. Direct and supervise other Designers/Drafters activities
