Position Title : DGM (Lead - Book close / Audit/ MDM / Cash & Bank / R2R) - Mumbai
Department : Finance and Accounts
Reports To : Finance Controller & Head of Shared Services Centre
Key Purpose Of The Job :
- The person will act as a single point of contact for any matters related to Book Close, Audit, Tax, Master data management (MDM), Fixed Asset (FA) and Cash & Bank, for Company's Businesses in a shared services environment.
The person shall be responsible for :
- Smooth functioning of Record-to-Report (R2R) organization as well as timely and accurate consolidation of accounts
- Assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash and financial services
- Plan, execute and report on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related audits/reviews of the organisation.
- Ensure 100% compliance in all Tax related matters and pro-actively assist the Corporate Tax department in Audit & Assessment
- Create, maintain & control all the master data files
Key Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Lead & manage R2R operations and ensure timely and correct consolidation of entire company's accounts
- Real time accounting with control & compliance
- Leading monthly / quarterly/ annual book close &statutory audits for 8-9 legal entities
- Expertise in understanding of IFRS & Indian accounting standards
- Ensure timely & smooth completion of internal, statutory and tax audits
- Ensure accurate reconciliation & scrutiny of entire balance sheet and P&L
- Ensure adherence to group-wide tax policies and standards for Direct &Indirect Tax
- Ensure proper FA capitalization, physical verification & reconciliation of capital spends
- Managing entire working capital management & treasury management
- Manage receivable management, credit policy & credit limit management
- Oversee entire vendor payment & bank reconciliation
- Coordinate with legal, risk and compliance for internal audit
- Ensure appropriate responses to audit observations with corrective and preventive actions
- Handle entire master data creation & monitoring for GL- s,Cost centre, internal order, etc.
- Effective IT leveraging for automation & digitization
- SPOC for coordination with Business planning team
- Preparing for changes arising out of any changes in Law or Accounting practices
- Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters
Qualification : Qualified CA
Experience : 10-14 years of experience in R2R
