DESIGNATION : DGM (IT Solutions & Transition Delivery)

LOCATION - Gurgaon (will be required to travel)

REPORTING - GM IT Solutions & Transition Delivery

EXPERIENCE - 11 - 17 yrs

QUALIFICATION: Computer Science Engineer / Post Graduate in Computer Science

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Experience in Call Center Technologies & IT infrastructure setup in BPO environment

- Provide Leadership and direction for IT Projects for India COE projects

- Review the overall IT solution with business leadership

- Provide cost-effective IT Solutions and Costing to the requesters with specific focus on the correctness and quality of response to RFP-RFI for client-bids.

- Overall responsibility for IT Solutioning and Transitioning for India business ; with an eventual scope of people management for such a team

- Responsible for ensuring to meet objectives of delivering projects within budgeted scope, time and cost. Ensuring that project management principles and tools are utilized to efficiently manage projects.

- Provide end-to-end support for Pre-Sales activities from RFP/RFI stages, further to IT Solutioning, Due Dilligence upto Contract signature for new as well as existing business opportunities for domestic India clients.

- Coordinate with Client organization IT staff for both operational and project issues. Recognize early warning signals that could result in delays and cost overruns and take corrective actions including escalating to the correct level of hierarchy.

- Coordinate with other IT groups and teams; ensuring that projects are scoped keeping current capacities in networks/infrastructure in mind. Also ensure that projects are executed to correct standards so that post commissioning issues are minimized

- Coordinate with other project managers and IT personnel in ensuring that the various independent projects that form a part of a master plan/project dovetail within agreed timelines.

- Motivate and manage performance of the team and other project personnel to achieve organization goals.

- Effective Documentation and sharing of best-practices with the rest of the IT organization through the IT Council/CAB (Change Advisory Board)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experience in project implementation

- Must have 11 to 15 years of IT industry experience with strong Project Management skill

- Should be able to perform client facing role with good presentation/ negotiation skills

- High Analytical Ability – Budgeting, costing, reviews to management & MIS.

- Creating Business Continuity Planning strategy.

- Strategically negotiate/deal with Transport Suppliers & Procurement.

- Peripheral knowledge of Labor laws

- Ability to think ahead and create contingency plans.

- Provide strong leadership & lucid directions in crisis situations.

- Adaptability to corporate world, flat decision hierarchy & working with juniors.

- PMP and ITIL certification is preferred

- Should have a good hands-on understanding of Technology Project Management and should have had the experience of managing complex IT projects with interdependencies and multiple stakeholders

- Should have had the experience of leading a group of IT professionals

- Should have the ability to manage trade-offs between cost/time/quality

- Should have the ability to aggressively leverage the organizational hierarchy in order to meet the project timelines and objectives

- In depth understanding of Applications, LAN, WAN, Telecom & Voice platforms and appreciation of interplay between these
