DGM - IRDA
- To track, comprehend, interpret, implement the new regulatory requirements released by IRDA, communicate the same to Senior Management and to ensure that the company processes and systems are in line with the
same.
- To review insurance products & its related documents before filing the same for Regulatory approval to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Policy T&C, Customer communications, Sales Prospectus & advertisements etc.
- To handle all the IRDA, GIC and other regulatory queries, correspondence and file the timely reply thereof and maintain proper tracking.
- To conduct the Compliance Workshops/ Trainings on various IRDA regulations/ guidelines to create Compliance awareness in various functions.
- To develop the Compliance related Standard operating procedures (SOPs), Policies like AML Policy, Outsourcing Policy, Advertisement Process, New Laws Regulations Management process etc) and Guidance note and implementation of the same in the organization.
- To Review of HO business processes & SOPs of Business Processes to ensure that they are in compliance with Insurance Act, IRDA rules & regulations etc.
- To compile, coordinate and timely submit the IRDA, GIC and Board periodic and ad-hoc reports.
- To Review the business contracts activities in line with IRDA Outsourcing guidelines, classify into core/non core and advice Legal team whether the activity can be outsourced or not.
- To Review the Training Material’s contents, Training leaflets and PPT’s to ensure the Compliance with the IRDA/other allied regulations and assist training function to identify the key compliance risk for appropriate closure.
