Job Description :

- Our client is looking for a leader in Industrial Relations who can manage the end to end Industrial Relations function one of the largest manufacturing set ups in the region

Client Details:

Our client is a reputed entity in the manufacturing industry with a workforce of over 10,000 employees.

Description:

- Develop and implement IR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

- Manage relationships with trade unions and address concerns to maintain a harmonious work environment

- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations

- Coordinate with HR and Management to handle grievances, disciplinary issues, and other employee matters

- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures

- Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements

- Drive employee engagement initiatives

- Collaborate with legal department to minimize legal risks

Profile

- MBA in HR/MSW is required.

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in HR management, with focusing on industrial relations, labor relations, and employee relations in a manufacturing or plant environment.

- An additional degree/certification in labor law will be a strong plus

- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, union negotiations, and HR best practices.

- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite. Exposure to SAP/Cronos preferred.

- Prior experience in Assam and fluency in Assamese is a must

- Exposure to the Electronics industry will be preferred
