Job Title : Deputy General Manager - Installation (DGM - Installation)

Location : Mumbai

Position Overview :

The DGM - Installation will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of elevator and escalator installation projects. Key responsibilities include managing project costs, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires close coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost & Resource Management:

- Plan and allocate resources efficiently, monitor project costs, and provide accurate cost projections.

Customer Coordination & Revenue:

- Ensure timely payments and smooth cash flow through regular coordination with customers.

Quality Control:

- Conduct stage-wise quality checks and final inspections to meet customer specifications.

Safety Management:

- Enforce health and safety protocols, conduct regular safety training, and oversee safety on-site.

Technical Oversight:

Resolve technical issues, coordinate with manufacturers, and ensure smooth delivery of materials and services.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stages of installation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related field.

Postgraduate qualifications or Project Management certification is a plus.

Experience : 10-12 years in elevator/escalator installation and project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills :

Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Technical Knowledge:

Expertise in elevator/escalator systems and installation processes, along with knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
