DGM/Head - Revenue Accounting/Revenue Assurance - BPO

Role Title: DGM/Head-Revenue Accounting and Recognition Service Delivery Lead S-15

Key aspects of the role are:

- To manage the team (of c. 20)

- Ensure the consistent application of revenue accounting policies and procedures

- Revenue accounting activities (including month-end activities, reporting, reconciliations etc.) are performed to the right quality and on a timely basis

- Report results and metrics back to local markets and country leads

- Work closely with local markets, when implementing new products/contracts (proposition, offer, price plan, tariff, etc.)

- Ensure appropriate controls and compliance requirements are followed

- Ability to improve processes, controls, implements automation etc. Ensure appropriate partner relationship framework in place.

A good understanding of the standard is essential and of the wider mobile and telecommunications market preferable. The role will provide wide exposure to the Group's finance community. Stakeholder management and problem solving and essential aspects of the role. This person must be self-driven, be able to analyse and articulate complex matters and be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Key account abilities and decision ownership:

- Manage revenue accounting activities (including month-end activities and related reporting/analysis)

- Ensure/enable the correct interpretation of new types of contracts and updating systems, advising on necessary master data changes

- Work closely with local markets, when implementing new products/contracts (proposition, offer, price plan, tariff, etc.)

- Ensure appropriate controls and compliance requirements are followed

- Ability to improve processes, controls, implements automation etc. Ensure appropriate partner relationship framework in place.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

- Strong communication skills (written, oral and presentation) to summarise and explain complex issues to a variety of audiences.

- Strong in team management, processes and controls, problem solving

- Good excel and analytical skills

- Good command of English

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Experienced or qualified accountants (min 5 years post qualification experience)
