Essential Job Functions
- Experience in the travel industry in areas of reservations, operations, service delivery, project management, technology implementation and business processes
- Should possess strong skills for process automation and implementation
- Setting up centralized operations solutions, both in-house & through external partners
- Having capability and prior experience to consolidate back office operations from around the country into a single location
- Creating SOPs and Process Maps in order to ensure Quality and smooth functioning of new accounts
- Training Operations staff on new processes and procedures
- Re-engineering existing processes and introducing automation to reduce manual and repetitive work, as well as ensure data and transactional accuracy.
- Possessing capability to single handed head the project related to consolidation of back office operations
- Work closely with all the Support Functions to ensure all laid down policies & processes are followed.
- Ability to analyse data, analyse trend and prepare MIS reports for the team, as and when required.
- Coordinate with client touch points on an as-and-when-needed basis.
- Delivery & management of all customers and operations metrics.
- Ensuring continuous improvement in Service Delivery.
- Continuously drive and improve Efficiency metrics
- Adherence to SLAs along with data integrity and reporting.
- Workforce planning & distribution in a 24/7 operations environment
- Identify cultural/geographical difference of customers within the process and educate team members on providing corresponding customer service.
- Maximizing direct customer satisfaction.
- Build and foster healthy group dynamics.
- Proactively identify possible threats to process and take suitable action.
- Any other responsibility that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Competencies Required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the travel trade
- Should be technically very proficient on TMC, GDS,
- Should be strong on process orientation and should have implementation experience
- Team management skills and ability to ‘lead by example’

Project Manager – Travel
Job Description
- 9 - 10 years of experience working in a distributed product development environment
- Should have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Should have full project lifecycle experience (atleast 5 projects)
- Should have prior experience working with product management to prioritize roadmap items for delivery
- Should have cross functional expertise as a developer, designer, business analyst and team lead on complex technology projects ; good knowledge of data structures, algorithms is desired
- Should have worked in cross functional teams (product management, development, QA, customers), understand team dynamics and priorities of each functional stakeholder and work with them to progress the project in a timely fashion
- Should be assertive, able to resolve conflicts and gain consensus in a cross functional team
- Should have good technical and domain knowledge, should appreciate business priorities so as to understand and appreciate dependencies in a distributed product development environment and resolve the dependencies
- Should have worked as a scrum team member and preferably as scrum master for 2 years
- Past experience with working on agile teams, scrum master, PMI-ACP certification is a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- Knowledge of travel domain is a plus
