Role and Responsibilities :
Quality & Technical Guidance
- Ensure delivery against QA department goals and objectives, i.e. meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule, Provide necessary definition development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product cycle Control & monitor the Cost Of Quality & Productivity
Quality Management
- Review quality control processes, PPM periodically and make necessary improvements as and when required, Ensure maintenance & up gradation of quality standards across the plant, Develop standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for employees, Set QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
Process Management
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation, Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated, Coordinate the company-wide improvement activities, Analyze quality problems (both internal and external customer), Maintenance & up gradation of quality standards across the company,
- Monitor the process & requirements of New Product development activities including PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA & SPC
Process Quality:
- Quality problems analysis (both internal and external customer), Quality/ audits on continuous basis
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
Supplier Quality:
- Review and check supplier audit plan, Technical support to supplier / Supplier QA team for improvement.
Customer Support:
- Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and
- Comparing with customer requirements, Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
People Management:
- Identifying relevant quality - related training needs, Identifying and maintain Manpower Planning & Induction according to business Plan, Performance review of the team.
