This position with a leading multinational Logistic company based out of Mumbai . This position will report into Sr. VP - MarComm & PR.
Role :
- The Person will be responsible for establishing and raising awareness for the Logistics company as a leading global player in the integrated logistics space among the Media community which will ultimately help raise the visibility and drive new business for the company.
- This role will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key industry bodies and leveraging them for building awareness, marketing campaigns and participating in events. Will also be responsible for strategic planning and supervision of all public relations programs across business and trade media for the company.
Responsibilities :
- Experienced PR practitioner with good media contacts and strong relationships in the media industry relevant to the logistics sector
- Create and execute an outreach program with media in India for the corporate brand as well as the specific vertical businesses
- Raise awareness in the media as an Indian MNC and an integrated logistics player. Maintain and manage the reputation of the organization
- Plan and manage crises communication
- Develop innovative activities that will promote companies' corporate capacity and raise our visibility and reputation as a leader in external media and key industry bodies
- Support on various internal and external communications campaigns
- Ideation and implementation of sales related marketing campaigns for all verticals and services of the organisation
- Implement Above the Line (ATL) sales campaigns through television, print, out-of-home and other suitable platforms
- Liasion with each vertical to support their marketing objectives through customized campaigns targeting existing and prospect customers and their industries
- Identify priority events, conferences, summits and networking platforms for each vertical
- Manage relationships with industry bodies such as CII, FICCI, Chambers of Commerce etc and also evaluate membership with them
- Collate marketing and sales content from each vertical for creating case studies, customer service papers, flyers, audio visuals, pamphlets, presentations and other sales communication collaterals.
- Create sales events as per the needs of the verticals targeting business clusters and regions pan India and across international markets
Requirements :
- Education : MBA in Marketing or PR
- Minimum of 15-20 years relevant Marketing and PR experience either within in a PR and AR role within a corporate.
- Proven track record of developing fruitful relationships within the media community in India.
- Good understanding of the logistics industry.
- Experience managing all aspects of PR from strategic to tactical.
- Strong background in running communications program from strategy to execution
- Highly organized. Strong time management skills. Deadline driven High initiative, work independently.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex strategy in simple easy to understand language.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization, and take advisory stance with the leadership team.
