Plant Head- Operations (DGM/GM-CNG Division)

Job Title: Plant Head

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of Cylinder Valve Manufacturing

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of cylinder valve manufacturing processes, guidelines, and industry standards.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in cylinder valve manufacturing.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team as needed.

Managing Complete End-to-End Plant Operations:

- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring effective and efficient functioning.

- Develop strategies and plans for maximizing productivity, quality, and safety.

- Monitor and control production processes to meet production targets and quality standards.

- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements.

- Optimize resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to achieve operational excellence.

- Continuously evaluate and improve plant operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Green Field Project Management:

- Lead the setup and establishment of a new greenfield plant.

- Plan and execute the project timeline, ensuring timely completion of all activities.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of plant operations.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize disruptions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Develop and monitor budgets for the project and ensure cost-effective operations.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and develop a competent team for various plant functions.

- Provide clear directions, objectives, and expectations to the team members.

- Foster a positive work culture, motivate employees, and encourage collaboration and innovation.

- Resolve conflicts, address employee concerns, and ensure a safe and conducive work environment.

- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance, Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.

Supply Chain Management:

- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.

Financial Management and Reporting:

- Generate and interpret financial reports to evaluate plant performance.

- Provide periodic reports and updates to senior management on plant operations and performance.

Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to establish productive relationships.
