We are having a job opportunity with one of our leading manufacturing client for DGM/ GM - Legal role.

Below is the job profile :

Designation DGM / GM Legal

Exp : 10-12 yrs, with experience in Corporate Litigation, Contracts and /or M&A

Qualification : LLB from a premium institute

- Role to promote and safeguard group business interests by providing legal advisory services to all group Companies on any issue. To draft and evaluate business/ legal documents.

- To provide support in litigation as required by various group entities. Participate in mergers, acquisition and other restructuring exercise of the Group.

- Liaise with lawyers for timely and speedy movement of the cases and arbitration. Study and facilitate the finalization of plaints, replies, documents for cases and arbitration. Attend courts in important cases, if required and arbitration proceedings. Keep the respective group entities involved in above actions.

- Understand the nature of business of the entity seeking advice and the specific problem arising therefrom. To apprise the position of Law based on the query. Check the relevant law/case law on the subject .

- Participate in the teams formed for mergers, acquisitions, divestment, acquisition and restructuring exercises of the Group and provide legal assistance and advice. Review Scheme of Arrangement and other legal documents also conduct legal due diligence.
