Our client is a leading chemical manufacturing company with corporate office in Mumbai, multi-locational, manufacturing plants situated across continents, 20 plus subsidiaries across the world along with global supply chain and sales teams so as to deliver reliable, high-performance systems and infrastructure seeks DGM/GM - IT.
This position reports to the CFO and is based in Mumbai.
Work Scope Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

- Proactively lead, manage, support, and develop the global IT team, empowering them to reach their full potential in alignment with the organization's objectives, thereby contributing to the realization of the organizational strategy.
- Build an advanced IT system landscape which can cater to the ever-changing business requirements.
- Foster optimal collaboration among both internal and external stakeholders and inspire them to seek partnerships with each other. As a Global leader, you will play a key role in advancing the digitization of the business.
- You will be an integral part of the global leadership team, and, alongside the Executive Committee, help define the IT policy for the global organization, with the overarching goal of contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives.
- Establish the mission and vision of the IT organization, nurturing a business-oriented culture and mindset.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for multiple high-impact technology initiatives that align with the overall corporate goals.
- Take charge of strategically designing, acquiring, managing, and implementing enterprise-wide technology infrastructure.
- Formulate and manage the department's budget, ensuring that its various activities are organized in line with the financial plan's policy guidelines and that results are achieved efficiently and with high quality.
- Plan and design information management processes that cater to the internal and external needs of the company, with a focus on Digital Transformation.
- Define a comprehensive IT security roadmap and guide the business toward a robust IT security strategy.
- Oversee significant IT and business initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, the definition and local implementation of global standards, and highly complex business applications.
- Ensure the cost-effective delivery of IT services that align with evolving business priorities and respond with agility to changing demands expertise and experience in various aspects of IT management, including the implementation of SAP and ERP applications, as well as overseeing IT infrastructure, networks, IT security, SOC, hardware, and software projects for a large user base in the manufacturing industry.
- He/she should be well-versed with the latest technology trends and should also be well updated with latest changes in:- ERP SAP upgrade to SAP S/4 Hana, Analytics - BI/BW, QlikSense, CRM systems, No-code / Low code platforms or any other bespoke development in Full stack or any other language as necessary.
- Good knowledge on overall technology stack
Educational Qualifications - At least a master and/or bachelor's degree in Information Technology
Experience (Type & Nature)
- Minimum of 5 years of senior IT management experience, holding positions at the VP or Director level, within a globally distributed organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, cultivating and sustaining relationships with fellow C-level executives and leaders of business units to gain a profound understanding of business requirements.
- Display a genuine interest in comprehending the intricacies of the business, its products, the market it operates in, and the customers it serves.
- Willing to engage in travel as required.
