This role involves leading and coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors to finalize the design and execution plans for water pipe systems and associated civil works.

The DGM/GM will ensure that designs meet all technical requirements and receive client approvals. Handing and coordinating clients' and consultants' engagements in multiple natures, multiple locations of WTP & STP Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Coordination: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, present design proposals, and secure necessary approvals.

2. Consultant and Vendor Management: Collaborate with consultants and vendors to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and meet project specifications.

3. Design Finalization: Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of detailed designs for laying pipes and related civil, electrical, and mechanical works.

4. Project Management: Ensure project designs adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

5. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring best practices in design and implementation.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national regulations and standards.

7. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to guarantee high standards of engineering design.

8. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to the Vice President, of Design and Engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.

2. Experience: 15-17 years of relevant experience in design and engineering, particularly in water infrastructure projects.

Skills :

1. Strong project management and organizational skills.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Proficiency in design software and civil and mechanical engineering tools.

4. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

5. Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.

6. Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and driving project approvals.
