DGM/GM/AVP/VP Operations - Build & Design
Profile Description:
- This is a leadership role where the chosen team member will leading the Operations vertical for the West region to begin with a team of project experts and supported by a team of design managers and other techno commercial team members.
- The team member will be a part of core leadership carving out the vision and path of the company along with other fellow members and the founders.
- Candidate should be Smart, Confident, balanced with logical and practical thinking, focused, able to handle the pressure, and quality oriented.
What you will be doing:
Operations and Project Management:
- Heading the operations and back-end for overall account and achieving business goals set by the organization
- Lead, manage and overseeing overall construction of interior projects assigned.
- Ensure the quality of the service deliverable through strong QA/QC Review, hiring, training, and utilization of staff, leveraging efforts to maximize value for the firm.
- Evaluation and implementation of new project management tools and technologies to improve workflows
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide visionary leadership to the operations team, aligning efforts with organizational goals.
- Manage multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
- Execute on a wide variety of initiatives from broad ops strategies to tactical improvements
- Organisational Leadership & P&L management:
- Lead and manage overall operations and profitability in accordance with the business goals of the firm.
- Identifying work front, required labour count and ensuring the timely execution and quality of each project.
- Develop, document, and implement workflows to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Build and maintain market leadership. Self-motivated and has the spur to achieve goals.
Resource Management:
- Optimize resource allocation to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the operations team.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Work with multiple stakeholders across the organization (sales, human resources, marketing, product, finance, legal, and analytics) to recommend and implement changes to operations processes.
- Ensuring flawless and regular documentation for the management and clients.
- Exceptional at interpersonal relations and client handling. Client Delight is paramount for a successful engagement for you. A high touch client engagement.
- Lead weekly project reviews to define critical success factors for specific clients and projects, and - develop strategies and tactics to achieve them while mitigating business risks.
- Ensure Client Satisfaction by holding regular interaction and review with clients, trade contractors, architects and project management consultants & others to monitor and co-ordinate all phases of construction.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service excellence.
- Implementing, monitoring and maintaining Quality Standards at the project site with Safety health and environment plan as per standard norms and clients requirements/expectations.
- Monitoring Billing & Realization of payments (both ways external and internal).
- Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays.
- Risk Management, Inventory Management, Warehousing, and Quality Control.
What you must possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communication is your key to success - across levels and across clientele.
- Closely worked with the project management and commercial teams with minimum 8 years of very strong experience working on the business, technical side of the Commercial Office Design & Build similar industry.
- Excellent communication, superior email writing skills and good/great design sense to ensure effective communication with very high profile clients like CEOs/ Founders etc
- Excellent number analytical and intellectual skills and has skilful articulation with financial reports/numbers.
- Understanding of P&L/Finance will increase the chances of selection
- Thorough knowledge of MEP and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Thorough knowledge of project management modules- MS Projects etc.
- Great with fitting in different working environment and fits well in the culture.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post Graduate from a Grade A institution. Alumni of IIT and/or IIM and similar colleges is a plus. Experience with high growth enterprise / start-ups is a plus
- Qualified experience of growing a new product vertical/territory end to end and handling large accounts with typical size between 20Cr- 50Cr
- Candidates having experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry will be preferred. Interior Design and Build will also be a plus
