GM/AVP/VP - Business Development - Design & Build
Profile Description:
- This is a leadership role where the chosen team member will be heading business-development pan-India driving quarterly and annual targets with a team of regional and territory heads supported by a team of design managers and other techno commercial team members.
- The team member will be a part of core leadership carving out the vision and path of the company along with other fellow members and the founders.
What you will be doing:
- Servicing and closure of high profile leads related to commercial office space with typical transaction size from INR 50 lakhs to 50 Cr. Profile of clients ranges from Founder/CEO and/or leadership team members of Start-up, SMEs and HR/Admin of Large MNCs.
- Furnishing and validation of leads through liasioning with Start-ups, Real Estate Consultants, Builders, Contractors, Property Search Platforms, Direct Property Seekers, Key Clients and other relevant platforms
- Making and pitching ideas, mood boards and design-presentations custom fit to client's needs by coordinating with Design, Ops team for layouts, on-site conditions and actual measurements of site
- Preparation of Detailed Quotations for clients and advising them till closure. Detailed understanding of itemised cost contributing to the client quotation
- Internal knowledge transfer to operations and regular coordination with project management team to remain abreast of the progress
- Ensure Client Satisfaction through and post the process of closure
- Managing team of Territory and Regional Heads to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets and KPI.
- Technology adoption and process improvement to drive efficiency at every step of Business Development process
What you must possess:
- Strong experience (more than 10 years) of selling large ticket size solutions in B2B segment - Average ticket size between 2 Cr- 100 Cr. Work experience in Design and Build, Construction and real estate category is a plus
- Strong experience of managing a team with typical team size of 10-50 members from highly qualified backgrounds
- Excellent communication, superior email writing skills and good/great design sense to ensure effective communication with very high profile clients like CEOs/ Founders etc
- Excellent number crunching and data analysis skills including but not limited to superior skills on excel sheet and similar suites
- Proven experience of generating repeat business from Key Clients and Account Management of large and super large corporate clients
- Training and Development of down line team and regular reporting updates to be supplied to up lines whenever applicable
- Proven experience of representing the company at key events, panel discussion, PR events etc
- Ability to travel extensively Pan-India in order to close key deals and represent us.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post Graduate from a Grade A institution. Alumni of IIT and/or IIM and similar colleges is a plus. Experience with high growth enterprise / start-ups is a plus
- Qualified experience of growing a new product vertical/territory end to end and handling large accounts with typical size between 20Cr- 50Cr
- Candidates having experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry will be preferred. Interior Design and Build will also be a plus
