Financial Planning and Analysis :

- Develop the financial plans required to achieve the business objectives

- Build a seamless integrated framework for reporting critical organizational metrics (sales, production, working capital, inventory ageing, receivables, payables etc.)

- Analyze the budgeted versus actual and report variances with recommendations to address the variances on Monthly basis

- Provide insights and decision support for key initiatives in the organization

- Benchmark and report on the financial performance of competition (profitability, working capital, performance year on year, key business initiatives, JVs, debt equity ratio)

- Lead the capex budgeting activities and drive adherence to the capex budgets

- Competition results analysis on quarterly basis

Treasury :

- Understand the funding requirements of the organization (term and working capital)

- Build and establish relationships with the banks and financial institutions to ensure funds are available at the right time and at the optimum costs

- Evaluate feasibility of alternate funding options (channel financing and vendor financing)

- Work towards improving the working capital metrics and reducing dependence on debt

- Ensuring proper banking mandates and regular review of dormant bank accounts

- Authorize payments to vendors and service providers

Cash Flow Management :

- Manage cash flow for day to day operations

- Monitor cash and undertake timely cash forecasting for effective management and use of available funds, cash minimizing interest cost and capital cost

- Oversee processing of payments on time and with accuracy

- Evaluate and implement the latest payment options available to enhance the optimum utilization of the cash flows

- Manage the surplus cash flows by investing in appropriate instruments in accordance with the investment policy norms of the organization

Others : Manage the complete insurance coverage, renewals and claims for the organization (personal accident insurance, group health insurance, fire insurance, burglary insurance etc.)

People Management :

- Build the team, set performance expectations, evaluate performance and guide the team to meet and exceed performance expectations

- Mentor and coach the team for sustained development
