DGM - Demand Planning & Logistics - FMCG

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT:

1. Manages the Manufacturing Demand/Supply functions

2. Measuring and enhancing customer service levels and implementing superior warehousing management practices will be another gain.

3. Structures and/or restructures and develops a world-class Demand/Supply model to support the company's business goals.

4. Develops and runs the required end-to-end product supply chain capabilities together with other central support function, in alignment with cost, customer quality/reliability and other key company deliverables.

5. Manages Master Production Schedules (MPS), Purchasing, Material Control and Warehousing to optimize Customer Service, Inventory Management, and capacity utilization/loading of the Operations through development of an accurate demand/forecast, parts delivery and shipment plans.

6. Provides operational analysis and planning support to Product Management.

7. Must directs the process which includes the planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution

8. Must communicate his needs and objectives to line managers and key personnel in procurement, development/manufacturing, logistics and distribution.

9. Cold chain management

10. Must ensure Cost reduction and process improvement in the process.

11. Must manage the relationships between many different vendors and information technology systems.

DEMAND PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for demand planning accuracy, customer service level & freshness of stock

2. Managing exception by conducting demand and supply review

3. Handling modern trade business from planning stage to execution, including demand planning, sales planning integration, order management and logistics

4. Roll out sales and operations process by involving all key stakeholders.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & DISTRIBUTION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for responding to all internal client inquiries and provide solutions to client services concerns.

2. Scheduling all internal staff to meet the operational requirements

3. Responsible for exception management, distribution cost, inventory accuracy

4. Key deliverables: customer service level, distribution cost, freshness through better stock planning inventory accuracy

5. Responsible for good warehousing practices, batch traceability

6. Responsible for budgeting and expenditure in the area of warehousing, mechanization and transportation

7. Responsible for safety & security assessment of all distribution centers

D. ADDITIONAL/ OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (listed in order of priority)

To train, develop, mentor and assist his subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the supply chain process
