Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly costing run and assist the onsite costing counterpart in resolving errors.
- Conduct COPA (Controlling and Profitability Analysis) assessment cycles.
- Identify dead stock and inventory eligible for write-off according to company policy.
- Assist in the Bill of Materials (BOM) explosion process.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost allocations.
- Perform ad hoc costing analysis to support the onsite counterpart.
- Reconcile production, usage, receipts, and shipments within SAP.
- Regularly perform inventory true-up and reconciliations to the General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare periodic reports to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations and participate in annual physical inventory observations.
- Provide adequate support to the audit team when needed.
- Prepare Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) cost data related to products.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the SAP CO module.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in the costing function, with a preference for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly the CO module, and experience with module implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
