DGM - Costing & Budgeting - Real Estate

Looking for DGM Budgeting & Costing for Ahmedabad location for our reputed client deals with Real Estate .

Qualification : BE Civil Engineering

Job Location : Ahmedabad

- BE Civil Engineering with minimum 12 years + experience in project costing, procurement budgeting .

- Analyses project requirements, specifications, project feasibility data, contingencies etc. basis inputs from BD

- Prepares and maintain database for the completed projects, collects information on prices of construction material, previous execution costs. Gets template filled by BD on project specs

- Prepares construction costing in the template.Discusses and modifies project costing as per inputs from BD and submits to BD. Gathers data required for costing through site visits, market prices, internal database etc.

- Conducts site visits in the region.

- Prepares preliminary level costing for approved projects in the template.

- Compiles cost estimates from other teams such as Design/ Marketing/ Legal

- Prepares consolidated budget for the project for approvalby manager.

- Provides project related inputs to third party cost consultants.

- Validates report submitted by consultant Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement. Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity

- Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area.

- Defines and sets work objectives for team members.

- Balances work allocation in team.

- Reviews tasks completed by team members and conduct regular performance reviews

- Completes performance appraisals of team. BD is main stakeholder; to take project requirements from BD and work out project costing; discuss with them, modify as needed. To gather prevalent market prices of construction material/ items

- Understanding of consumer insights, preferences, information of surrounding projects, pricing, price benchmarking, units for sale, product design, ticket price.

- Obtain marketing budget for a project from marketing. Give costing data to finance. Compile budgets for a project needed by these teams. For obtaining budget bifurcation figures for a project

- Data on cost of amenities provided to customers. The incumbent is responsible for making analysis of project construction costing and budget for new projects - evaluation stage / approved projects.
