Position Title - DCM – Corporate Sales

1. JOB PURPOSE
(Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from the organisation's point of view and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization).
- Responsible for business generation through Corporate Agency Retail Broking and development of new channels.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job)
1. Ensure business plans and numbers are met on a monthly basis across product lines through channel partners.
2. Identify and Tie-up with Corporate Agency Partners to enhance overall LTGICL distribution reach. Constant prospecting of Non-conventional channels.
3. Create a robust business partnership with LTF, Corporate Agents and channel partners resulting in sustained business numbers.
4. Recruitment, Mentoring, Training and Development of team members and channel partners.
5. To ensure that all preset processes viz. operations finance, sales, marketing, Commission payout mechanism, Claims Management, legal and compliance etc are adhered to by self and staff.

- Team Size – Approved budget is 3+4 (LTFR, CARB) for Financial Year 2012, Direct Reports – 7
- Internal Interface - Claims, IT, Finance, Operations, Underwriting, HR
- External Interface – L&T Finance, Corporate Agents, Brokers, Automobile manufactures/dealer and other such intermediaries.
4. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
(State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent).
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 10 yrs work experience, essentially relevant exposure in retail sales within General Insurance since last 3 yrs.
