JOB RESPONSIBILITY

I. Good understanding and knowledge of the electronics industry in India to make optimal PR strategy regarding the consumer electronics industry; maintain a keen understanding of tech industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

II. Deep understanding of product communications and product PR do develop high-impact communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for India's visual display (VD), digital appliances and mobile experience (MX) businesses

III. Skilled content creator, with ability to deliver well-crafted press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations; should be able to ideate and contribute articles and videos for India Newsroom.

IV. Help social media team prepare content and strategy for Digital PR to engage audiences across SM platforms

V. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media; develop media relations strategy, with the objective of driving high-impact stories in print, broadcast and online media; build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness; manage media inquiries and interview requests

VI. Coordinate and manage all public relations activities, including launches, media roundtables and trips; align key stakeholders on media inquiries and interview requests and manage response and approvals

VII. Should be able to deliver results under tight deadlines; monitor, analyze and communicate PR results as per requirement (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports)

VIII. Should be able to contribute to risk mitigation during crisis through media relationships

IX. Should be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders - PR agency, Digital PR team, Event team and multiple business teams - to drive optimum results

X. Raise approvals for events and monthly PR plans and expenses; help with administrative issues such as raising approvals for vendor payments, PR campaigns, device issue, etc.

KEY RESULT AREAS

i. Independently drive PR and communications for products and services (CE and MX) - from strategy to execution

ii. Independently plan and execute Digital PR campaigns

iii. Drive engagement through content

iv. Deliver internal KPIs such as coverage volume, share of voice, tonality, engagement, etc. independently

v. Manage crisis

vi. Ensure compliance with company policies

vii. Ensure approval process

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

i. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any discipline (Journalism/Mass Communications/Advertisement/Marketing professionals preferred)

ii. 15+ years of experience in PR and communications industry, preferably in consumer tech vertical

iii. Experience of working in MNCs and with diverse stakeholders (agency, expats, colleagues from global offices, etc.)
