POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: DGM - Content Design and Delivery
BUSINESS UNIT: Business Competency Development
REPORTING TO: EVP - Sales Support and Business & Competency
NO OF REPORTEES: 3
LOCATION: Bangalore - Head Office
Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish)
Manage the entire Learning Continuum for Tied Agency
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned) :
- Create and Manage the learning continuum for Advisors, Sales Managers, Branch Managers and other senior levels in field as required as per the evolving needs in their respective roles
- Manage the content for all mandated and ad-hoc programs on a regular basis
- Manage and the knowledge and skill certification for Training managers, ATMs, Sales managers and Branch Managers
- Manage the content repository, knowledge portal
- Manage the content team and the Senior manager for BM development service delivery
- Delivery of Training programs as and when required and conducting Train the Trainers
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) :
1. Graduate (Post graduate desirable) with 10 to 15 year of work experience with at least 6-7 years in Content and Training delivery
2. Min 4-5 years in Insurance domain where the candidate has created and delivered programs for ranks equivalent to Branch Managers of ING Life or senior
3. Min 3 years of team management experience of managing training teams Exposure across different styles of training methodology and varied platforms of content delivery (like classroom, e-learning, simulations, workshops)
4. Excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken in English. Proficiency in regional language is desirable
5. Certifications and experience in instructional design, content management, behavioral training is desirable
6. Project management experience involving cross functional groups and
7. Vendor Management
