Responsible for providing Insights to various internal stake-holders, based on available Internal and External Information from Consumers and Markets,both Strategic and Tactical level.

Support the Business and Marketing teams in their future Planning activities by providing Strategic inputs.

Key Responsibilities

Consumer Insights and Planning

- Central Repository of Knowledge (Insights, Information as well as Data), collected from various Internal and External sources.

- Driving Primary Market Research within the Organisation, to help resolve various Marketing and Business issues. This will also include Research activities using Internal and External Consumers/Employees panels.

- Regularly providing Insights to various Internal Stakeholders, basis a combination of Internally available information and Primary Research, which also help towards:

Brand Building

New Acquisitions and Retention

Revenue Uplift

- Conceptualize and Track KPIs at the National level, and also at a more granular level (States/Regions).

In the process advising various Geographical teams on what corrective actions can be taken, in case KPIs dont show strong performance.

- Aiding various Marketing and Business Teams in effective executions of their plans, by enabling informed decision-making within the system.

- Managing and Contributing towards special projects, such as Data Monetisation; Media Consumption Tracking etc.

- Strategy Notes for Senior Management on key and relevant business topics.

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate in any specialization and MBA/PGDM in Marketing, from a premier institute

Years of Experience 8-12 years

Ideal Candidate would have good experience in both Research Agency-side and Corporate side, managing Market Research and Consumer Insights generation related activities for the organisation. Relevant exposure to CPG and Telecom categories would be preferable.

Should have handled critical projects while being on Corporate (Client) side and varied MR activities while being on the Agency side. Should have the experience of effectively managing leading Market Research agencies and other Vendors, while being on Corporate (Client) side.

Proven track-record in managing and providing Insights within the organisation, interacting with the Senior Management and advising them, thus helping the business.

- At least 2 years of experience with leading MR agencies or KPOs and Al least 2 years- experience on Client-side, managing Consumer Insights function in a leadership position. Total work experience at least 8 years. Should have excellent Analytical ability and ability to work under pressure.

- Successful Track record of driving Consumer Insights in a large corporate by conceptualizing and implementing various programs around insights generation and consumer research.

- Must have or must quickly acquire excellent understanding of the Sector and company's businesses.

- Good written and Oral communication skills.
