Would like to discuss with you regarding an opening for DGM Brand Activation.
Location : Mumbai
Reports to: Brand Head.
Department - Brand Team.
Function - Corporate Marketing.

Creating brand engagement in order to strengthen brand affinity, support brand building efforts and generate trials in some cases
- Initiate and develop 360 communication along with execution for thematic campaigns, new product launches such as music/ Sports, existing product support such as Prepaid offers, Postpaid, Mobile Internet, National Tariffs
- These campaigns would be at a national level and would require campaign management at an on ground level as well as on the digital medium
- Develop objectives for each activation plan, develop plans with agencies and monitor implementation with clearly defined milestones and develop metrics to evaluate success
- Work with the research and business to evaluate success of each campaign
- Develop guidelines for national activation plans for Circles to implement at local levels
- Develop guidelines for sponsorship in such a manner that brand engagement and amplification are at the core of the sponsorship initiative
Circle Communication
- Guide circles to help formulate circle marketing communication calendars
- Plan activities/ events based on market & business priorities
- Provide guidance to circles for sponsorships and activation programs so that sponsorships are used to build brand engagement and strengthen brand affinity
- Review every piece of work that is created across all circles
- Provide guidance on communication propositions development
- Create standardized communication for products and services
- Transfer best practices across circles
- Maintain consistency and work closely with the global team to comply & develop global guidelines
- Ensure speed to market of all pieces
- Develop and assist execution on all large scale circle or campaign events.
- Provide support to the enterprise communication team
Events & Sponsorship
- Plan, Organise, manage and execute all external and internal corporate events
- Develop sponsorship execution guidelines for Corporate / Circles
Work closely with the global team and various local partners to ensure extraction of value and impact from all sponsorship deals
Email & Direct Marketing
- Trade Communication
Corporate Responsibility
- Create internal communication plans to increase awareness of key issues within the company and encourage every employee to become an ambassador for CR
Plan & manage the communication to the right external audience
Agency and team management
- Deliver sharp briefs to the agencies that brings alive the varied objectives of multiple events
- Evaluate the creative as well as commercial aspect of agency proposals
- Supervise/ manage /monitor the agency as communication partners to develop communication, ensure compliance with guidelines, consistency and speed to market.
- Ensure quality deliverables by the agency as well as compliance with corporate values such as HSW
- Periodical reviews with the agency on the work done and a competitive analysis to develop benchmarks and way forwards.
Internal communication
- Plan, Develop and execute all internal campaigns & events
- Liaison with all internal departments to understand their need and deliver appropriate and timely communication.
- To ensure uniformity in communication. And maintain a brand look and feel for all internal communication.
- Identify and develop differentiated merchandise for employees and customers
- Develop, manage and execute various internal Projects and Events
- Ensure cordial relation & proper understanding with all internal teams so that objectives are collectively met
Financials and Misc
- Timely process bills to ensure that vendors get paid on time
- Vendor relationship management to get the best deal from them
Work experience should have included a mix of strategic brand thinking, activation and communication development even if communication does not include large national campaigns
