Job description :
1. Lead Business transformation initiatives with focus on cost management
2. Liaison with key stakeholders for flawless execution of business transformation initiatives
3. Develop and execute strategies to create a trans formative work culture which espouses team work, continual improvement and first time right, every-thing right focus.
4. To design and roll out Employee Engagement initiatives in the Plants to create a Great Place to Work environment.
5. To craft and execute a well-defined capability/ skill building plan for blue collared which helps achieve organizational goals in the areas of PQCDSM.
6. Build effective leadership in the Union members and the informal leadership in the blue collared to ensure fair, healthy and harmonious negotiations during LTS and otherwise.
7. Assess risks of IR decisions accurately, build strong external/ internal relationships (with government, union agencies, communities and political opinion makers), to proactively read the labor related external/ internal trends and act accordingly.
8. Effectively monitor statutory compliances with a high degree of veracity.
9. Constantly evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current CSR systems/ Communication processes, improve them continuously and leverage on best practices.
10. Approach internal and external stakeholders with a service and partnering mindset and display a high degree of ownership to all the services provided.
11. Promote a culture of openness to feedback, responsiveness, employee care and empathy wherein every stakeholder complaint is studied and addressed
12. Empower, motivate, coach and build capability in the team members to effectively perform their roles with an objective create out performance.
MSW/ MLS / MPM, Degree in Law (Desirable)
Exp range: 15 to 20 years
Age : 42 to 50 years
- Practicing IR Knowledge (Tacit)
- Critical IR issues including signing of LTS
- Statutory Requirements of Labor Laws/ CSR Laws
- Employee Welfare
- Through knowledge of Labor Laws/ CSR Laws
- Best practices in Employee Communication
- Experience of Operating IR function for multiple locations of a Manufacturing Organization involving Unions.
- Experience of handling Wage Settlement/ Wage negotiations process with Unions (for Medium to large size workforce)
- Hands on experience in Employee Welfare, employee engagement, Grievance Management and Disciplinarily actions
- Experience of networking with external agencies, Govt. organizations, NGOs and other industry professionals
