DGM/Additional GM - Commercial - Industrial

POSITION: DGM / Addl. GM – Commercial

JOB PURPOSE:

To develop, lead and manage all commercial activities for the business and ensure that the commercial strategy leads to profitable business growth and that commercial success is achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- He will be responsible for capturing and defining all the T & C’s, keeping in view the legal, financial, commercial and related compliance considerations

- Assessment of Risk’s based on the T & C’s and develop mitigation plans

- Responsible for indirect tax matters, e.g. collection of E & C forms

- Conduct and participate in meetings with customers, follow-up on pending dues, identify residual risks and convert them into check points for better management control

- Will also be responsible for claims and necessary compliances to the extent of checking and ensuring that things are in right order and if required, raise the concern for management information and necessary action

PERSON PROFILE:

- Should be Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / Legal with a post graduation in Finance / Business administration / specialization in commercial domain

- Around 40 years of age with 12 – 17 years of relevant experience from engineering industry

- Exposure to exports will be an added advantage

- Confident communicator with good presentation skills

- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships

- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills

- Commercially astute and customer focused

- Ability to work collaboratively with others

- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
