About role :

- The purpose is to develop value added new products based on the existing product basket as well synergetic products. The responsibilities are of techno-commercial nature. The position holder is required to work with R&D as well as chemical businesses verticals to identify new products.

- Covert theoretical concepts in to engineering concepts, identify technologies, feedstocks, work out preliminary feasibilities, facilitate laboratory and pilot scale development of intended /identified products and identify partners for commercial scale development. Ultimate objective is to develop processes /set up/studies to bring newly identified products to commercial project stage.

Key Accountability :

- Review and align NPD portfolio with the business teams for strategic growth.

- Develop new products to be produced using existing plants/facilities with synergetic specialties.

- Identifying/development of values adding downstream products.

- Identify MB and EB based supply options, convert concept into preliminary feasibility study including Preliminary Capex/Opex working for products under consideration.

- Identify suitable technologies for commercial scale operations.

- Organize and conduct meetings with potential technology licensors and other agencies as required.

- Address EHS and statutory obligations associated with new products.

Qualification:

- PG/ PHD in Chemical Engineering

- 10-12 years of applied R&D experience in large size chemical company.

Location: Navi Mumbai

Travel : 10%

Shift & workdays : Day shift with 5 days a week.
