Job Location : Head Office- Kottayam, Ettumanoor

Factory Manager Qualification B tech/ M tech(mechanical/electrical ) (technical knowledge mandatory)

Strategic Management Responsibilities :

- Plan, execute, and oversee all maintenance activities.

- Perform predictive, preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance.

- Schedule preventive maintenance across all equipment.

- Implement maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.

- Identify critical spare parts and maintain readiness for shutdowns and emergencies.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of plant equipment.

- Coordinate with teams to ensure adequate manpower availability.

- Optimize plant maintenance workforce utilization.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices.

- Organize and assess daily maintenance operations in relevant areas.

Operational Management Responsibilities :

- Analysing Preventive & Breakdown maintenance data in a timely manner.

- Managing daily plant maintenance systems.

- Monitoring documentation for ISO & FSSAI Audits.

- Tracking daily maintenance activity data.

- Updating and maintaining equipment specifications in databases.

- Managing calibration reports and data for weighing scales and weight bridges.

- Monitoring and updating vendor information to support management development.

- Supporting operational planning and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Improvement & Project Management Responsibilities :

- Initiating Kaizen activities to enhance equipment performance.

- Implementing strategies to eliminate waste in maintenance operations.

- Estimating costs and planning short-term projects, ensuring execution within budget.

- Ensuring timely and quality delivery of short-term project objectives.

Financial Management Responsibilities :

- Strategizing maintenance spare parts planning based on cost considerations.

- Managing costs through efficient sourcing of spares and services.

- Implementing cost-saving initiatives within the maintenance function.

- Optimizing energy and water consumption to reduce costs.

Safety Management Responsibilities :

- Ensure continuous compliance with PPE, GMP, and GDP standards.

- Oversee and verify safety equipment functionality and emergency readiness.

- Manage department operations and maintain an efficient workforce.

- Provide on-the-job training to enhance subordinates' safety proficiency.

- Enforce safe practices and procedures among employees.

- Enhance safety awareness and facilitate incident reporting.
