We are contacting you for an opening for the position of Development Manager - Based at Mumbai with a leading MNC Client.
Job Location : Mumbai
Job Responsibilities :
- 10+ years of experience developing applications with an emphasis on software and systems design.
- 5+ years project planning, resource forecasting, project monitoring, status reporting
- At least 3 years of team management, performance management, team development (Not just project management responsibility)
- Must have worked for global company or global customers
Required Skills :
- Willing and able to take full responsibility for a project or task from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
- Must have a desire to collaborate, share ideas, and works towards common team/company goals.
- Hands on experience in setting up and enforcing IT development, Change Management, QA and Support Processes
- Hands on experience in estimating, reviewing and making ROI
- Strong technical skills in .NET framework, web services, LINQ
Major responsibilities :
- Prepares project plans and product roadmaps, specifically in the areas of task breakdown, estimating, and scheduling.
- Manages team performance, monitors daily work
- Responsible for development of complex application code that is traceable to technical specifications.
- Responsible for developing detailed designs for new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications.
- Allocate tasks to the team as per the business priorities and team skill sets.
- Conducts code reviews to ensure peers are adhering to documented coding standards and best practices.
- Provides production support and performance monitoring of critical production systems.
- Coordinates with other departments and/or external vendors to resolve critical system production problems and implement software release to production.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to application development processes that are in place.
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely communication of the status of assignment, job responsibilities, and the resolution of problems to the appropriate parties following established policies and procedures.
