The Director role for TSMO is typically the owner of this department made up of several teams consisting of 250+ staff spread across Jaipur, Pune and Bangalore, hence holds a very critical role. This role is mainly responsible for oversight and management of those groups and has an expert or deep understanding of the business, process and/or product.
Requirement for a Director level role :
- Management of 250+ FTE across 3 locations in India
- The core team support a critical control within DB i.e. Transaction Filtering
- Regular senior engagement with regulators, external monitors as well as internal & external Audit
Key Responsibilities :
- Their main responsibilities include providing input into the creation of the Bank's strategic goals and being an ultimate driver of the direction and performance to target. Driving transformation and continuous improvement, leading programs or projects. Act as an escalation point for department, controls, key process and risk indicators.
- Accountability for budgets, vendor relationship and cost management. Responsible for the performance of teams, supervisors and individual contributors in that any operational and transactional processes under the teams' remit are performed within agreed policies and procedures. Ensure that key process and risk indicators, controls, service level agreements and vendor management are adhered to and evidenced, this includes creating a strong culture of risk mitigation and management.

- Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals.
- Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement.
Work includes:
- Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation - utilizing comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
- Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk
- Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions
- Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls
