Key Focus Areas:
- To conceptualize, design & develop the seasonal ranges, gap fillers & modules in line with the brand strategy and positioning.
- To execute design from beginning to end by ensuring the right product mix at the planned price matrix.
Purpose:
- To showcase and present merchandise ranges season on season to ensure the business plans are achieved.
- To ensure that the final complete range looks synchronized. (Imported + Local).
- To ensure the product development as per the brand DNA.
- To understand trends and incorporate such trends in the option plan/category mix
- To periodically study the incumbent markets to analyze the sale of indigenously designed products and to also understand and exploit the opportunities.
- To understand the competition and provide feedback on Trend/Product/Price/Option Plan of all competing brands on a periodic basis.
- To visit vendors regularly and ensure product development is as per the required timelines and cost.
- To visit fashion fairs/markets for inspiration to incorporate in the range/design development.
