Job Description - A Design Head to lead Product Design and Innovation in a leading Auto Component Manufacturer

Client Details :

Our client is a leading auto component manufacturer. They are strongly focused on innovation and are pioneers in their industry. They are looking for a Design Head with hands-on knowledge of electromechanical systems like passive entry, locking mechanisms and security systems.

Description :

Reporting directly to the Business Head, you would be responsible for:

- Leading New Product Design across all categories with a team of 15 engineers

- Handling the current portfolio and driving innovation in it

- Working with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc. effectively

- Driving strategic tie-ups with partners.

- Managing patents & IPRs

- Ensuring growth and development of the teams working with you

Profile :

Ideally, you are a full-time Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electronics with 15+ years of experience in electromechanical precision systems like locks, passive entry, security systems etc. You should have at least 5 years of experience in new product development along with relevant experience in Product Design, R&D Manufacturing & Engineering. You should be adept in creative problem solving and should have relevant software skills for managing designs.
