DesiCrew - Head, Business Development
Job Description
Background :
Desicrew (www.desicrew.in), the pioneering rural BPO model of the country, is looking for experienced professionals for managing its client relationship and business development. It is an opportunity to work with a game changing model for scaling up rural BPOs. We are looking for institution builders and leaders, who would want to join us in this exciting journey.
Role : Head of Business Development which includes Lead Generation, New Business addition, Account management, Client relationship functions for 10-15 rural Delivery Centers of 100 seats each across India in the next 2-3 years.
Location : To be based in Chennai or Bangalore. Mumbai and Delhi are the next options.
Current Delivery Center locations : Kollumangudi (Thiruvarur district, 17 km from Mayiladuthurai) and Appakoodal (Erode district, 30 km from Erode) in TamilNadu and Kaup (Udupi Distrtict, 15 km from Udupi) in Karnataka.
Expectations:
- To be a key member of the management team working along with the senior leadership and Board members
- To be able to conceptualise, design and implement new business development process
- To independently manage new Clients addition on a Quarterly basis
Highlights of the Engagement :
- To be a part of a pioneering Rural BPO model
- Working with a client portfolio consisting of the leading Corporates of the Country
- Reporting directly to CEO of DesiCrew
Pre-requisites :
- 15-20 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Leadership position in business development for atleast 5 years
- Strong metrics orientation
- Excellent business communication skills
- Experience in IT/BPO environment and international business
Adaptable to work culture/demands of a Start-Up organization
