Job Designation : Derivative Manager - Business Development

Number of Position(s) : 1

Qualification : Any PG / MB / MS in Finance or Quantitative Discipline

Experience : Minimum 5 years

Job Responsibilities :

The profile of the person is one who should be overseeing the trading desk while at the same time focusing on developing strategies for clients and building broking & direct client relationships and business development.

We are looking for a hybrid role, which incorporates the following :

- Manage the traders, working closely with them and being involved in actual trading / risk management when needed

- Develop and execute a business development plan to seek new client flow in options

- Develop option trading ideas and strategies and disseminate to clients

- Analysis of trading performance and development of new logic to improve trading performance

- Work closely with programmers to manage the development of sophisticated trading / risk system - which includes understanding requirements, developing new functionality etc

Skills/Expertise :

- Knowledge of derivatives and options- in particular option trading strategies

- Experience in the equity markets either as a trader or analyst

- Some technical background, by way of education or being involved in trading technology development life cycle

- Master degree preferred, either MBA or M.S. Finance or a quantitative discipline

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial markets

- Very strong communication skills ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and interact well with both peers as well as senior management
