Job description

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Developing the finance strategy in consultation with the Board

- Driving budgets and execution of the same

- Adherence to Finance SOP - Timely and accurate reporting (financial) Processes across Company

- Set measurable, sound and achieving costs reduction on the overall Budget targets across the Company

- To review monthly P&L

- Maintain entire MIS

- Handling Banking & Finance

- Handling Income Tax Assessments

- Handling Service Tax Credit/Compliance

- Statutory Compliances- Statutory Compliances at all levels on all laws are monitored and adhered. Timely closure of quarterly results and adhering to SEBI norms

- Evaluation/Review of new projects - Evaluate property expansions and costs to ensure profitable and faster growth. Cost Control on operations and Capex outlays.

- Corporate Law, Secretarial and SEBI

- Set Internal Control norms and its adherence; Develop Internal Audit measure

- Monitor Distributor Payments.

- Monitoring rationalization plans.

- Quarterly and half yearly closures

- Negotiations with various agencies

- Adhere to the timelines for vendor payments distributor payment payroll disbursement vouchers bills payment cycles credit periods credit limits

- Ensures that the accounts are closed correctly as per the deadline and sends them for publishing

- Ensures that the accounts from the head office are reconciled monthly

- Ensures that the corporate accounts are reconciled monthly

- Ensures that the fund requirements for payments are met in a timely fashion

- Maintains and builds relationships with bankers for procurement of funds

- Ensures regular follow-up with internal and external auditor

- Ensures that the compliance with the SOP is maintained with the addendums and amendments being checked and implemented

- Ensures that there is adequate cash flow as per the norms laid down by the finance

- Ensures periodic follow-up with the software team to for changes in the process

Experience:- 10 years plus experience in accounting and financial record keeping. At least ten of those years, leading the finance function of an organization

Qualification:- Chartered Accountant / MBA in Finance with strong analyzing skills.
