Salary Range: 10 - 15 LPA
Deputy Regional Manager - General Trade (FMCG)
- Your responsible for the sales performance of the General trade Channel for the regions. Delivering the overall territory sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies- policies and strategies.
- Channel management - Sales & collection for the region.
- Network expansion - To prepare a distribution plan for the Region as per the Channel policy. Select and appoint distributors for respective territories.
- Manage and coach a Sales team consisting of Area Sales Managers, TSOs & offroll sales people.
- To maintain and nurture good business relations with distributors and ensure long term channel capability per terms and policy.
- Sales forecasting and task setting per market, per Area Manager, per Area Sales Executive per distributor.
- To implement debtors policy and maintain control over outstandings.
- Monitoring market trends and competition activity per market and providing feedback.
- To develop from time to time, special Sales incentive plans for distributors and their Sales Staff, obtain necessary approval and implement the same.
- To organise, in conjunction with suitable agencies, sales promotion campaigns, dealer-meet, product launch demos, product displays etc.
Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:
1. Graduate with MBA (from tier I or II colleges) in Marketing is preferable with experience of 8 Plus in general trade sales in a similar FMCG category in a middle management/leadership role. He/ she will also have current/ previous work experience with a genearl trade retailer.
2. Minimum 3 years responsibility for handling direct reportees in a regional structure.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
4. Very good written and verbal communication skills
5. Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills; resilient and able to perform under pressure
7. Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to set clear priorities and meets deadlines
8. Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
9. Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from a lot of data
