Job Role: As the Deputy Regional Head - Business Development , you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in business development, a keen understanding of the medical education sector, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and
expand market presence.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to enhance reach and impact.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Team Handling:
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team success.
- Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the team, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
On-field Supervision:
- Regularly visit medical colleges and key locations to supervise the on-field sales activities.
- Ensure the team is effectively engaging with potential customers, addressing their needs, and promoting products and services.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Student Ambassadors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective delivery of offerings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development, with at least 6 of experience in the Sales Domain.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel.
