Role : Deputy Manger - Audit & Statutory Reporting  Department : Accounts & Taxation  Job Location: Mumbai  Qualification: CA  Experience: At least 3 years experience post qualification  The role is responsible to ensure compliance with the Indian GAAP for preparation of financial statements of the company and facilitate the audit process with statutory auditors. It also ensures timely and accurate financial reporting to various stakeholders, IRDA and to manage the chart of accounts and special projects assigned.  Accountability:  - Prepare MIS reporting pack, financial statements, OSL summary  - Make public disclosure on company website  - Prepare IRDA chart of accounts  - Prepare segmental, financial conglomerate, Group consolidated financial, FCC and management report  - Co-ordination and liaison with auditors to ensure timely and smooth closing of quarterly audits  - To coordinate between different teams within finance and other departments for timely completion of audit.  - To update the senior accounts team on audit updates   - Prepare the documents required for the quarterly Audit committee meeting from accounts  - Preparation of audit committee presentation  - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of various reports as per MIS Calendar.  - Preparation of Service Tax reconciliation every month to have close monitoring of service tax liability and input credit.  - Summarise the monthly accounts Reconciliation prepared by various units and Co-ordinate on actionable points  - Consolidation of financial / non financial data of all related parties for Financial Conglomerate  - Reporting to IRDA on quarterly basis  - Quarterly website disclosures of Financial / Non Financial Data as per IRDA requirements.  - Co-ordinate with external teams to get various reports on time. Review and analyse varied reports from different teams for accuracy  - Providing IFRS updates on revamping of IAS 39, IFRS 4 and other critical international accounting standards and international financial reporting standards  - Conducting IFRS training on above standards to educate employees across various departments on IFRS. Also conducting training for colleagues, seniors and senior management for providing technical updates and impact on company.  - Prepare IFRS financial statements by passing IFRS adjustment entries. Preparing notes to accounts and disclosures required under IFRS.  - Discuss with holding company IFRS updates and provide them financial statements.  - Regular update on any amendments, change in Accounting Standards, IRDA & other commercial laws  - Analyse impact of new updates/changes in the Laws and Accounting Standards on financial reporting  - Participation / involvement in cross functional and joint projects with group companies
