Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

- Planning, Organizing and controlling of overall operations for the warehouse.

- Keeping track and reporting on stock quality, quantity, stock levels, deliver times.

- Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.

- Resolving problems concerning logistics system and customer issues.

- Evaluating and selecting information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage or inventory.

- Maintaining standards of safety, quality and security.

- Materials receiving, storage and line delivery as per production plan.

- Inventory- Daily, perpetual, half yearly, Yearly.

- Proper 5 S in the store and FIFO management with reports.

- Documentation and record control, ensuring compliances to various documented procedures in warehouses

- Manage the warehouse/logistics operations and handle shipment receipts to order management, picking, and Inventory management order fulfilment.

- To ensure the orders received are dispatched accurately and within specified timelines.

- Preparing DSR/DR (Daily Sales Report/Dispatch Report).

- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities.

- Negotiating freight & finalising contracts with transporters from time to time.

- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

- Implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Incharge is plus.

- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software is plus.

- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Ensuring Daily/monthly Stock audit verification is done and ensure maintain zero variance.

- Respond to Customer, Principle company queries in an effective and timely manner.

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Maintain organized and clean warehouse facilities to facilitate efficient workflow and safe working conditions.

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Minimum Qualification Graduation / Diploma.

- Ability to lead a team.

- Good MS office knowledge.

- Good planning and problem solving / analysis skill.

- Good presentation skill.

- Good knowledge of Inventory control / space utilization.
